Over one hundred and thirty bird species have been recorded in the Parklands including the endangered wild Grey Partridge. During the winter months large numbers of waders, ducks and swans are attracted into the area while summer sees the arrival of smaller visitors such as Wheatear and Whinchat.

1. Turraun
Located 300 m from the car park at the Pollagh end of the access road, this hide has excellent views over Turraun wetlands.

2. Tumduff Mor
Situated on an area of high ground over looking the wetlands, this hide provides an excellent vantage point from which to observe the many visiting and resident water birds.

3. Tumduff Beag
L ocated on the Cycle Path road opposite Boora Lake, this, the largest of the hides, is wheelchair accessible and provides views across both Tumduff beag wetlands and Boora Lake.
