A sculpture in the parklands

Come along to Lough Boora Parklands this Sunday, 3rd October and join in with National Trails Day!

National Trails Day is an event suitable for all, and is a celebration of Ireland’s wonderful variety of trails, with a chance for everyone to enjoy some of our most beautiful countryside, forests, mountains and lakes.

Where: Lough Boora Parklands
When: 11am
Duration: 2 hours

The guided parklands walk will take you through the unique landscape at Lough Boora Parklands and introduce you to all types of wildlife - flora and fauna. It will also take you on a journey through the impressive sculpture park, home to 20 spectacular outdoor sculptures that you can admire and even explore. This is a great opportunity for both new and regular visitors to see all that the parklands have to offer. There is something truly spectacular about an Autumn walk here in the parklands; with animals, plants and birds all making their Winter preparations. Bike hire will also be available in the park on the day for those who prefer to cycle, as well as picnic and parking facilities to help you make a day of it.
