Lough Boora Parklands

Local scouts enjoyed their "walk in the park" on National Trails Day, which took place on Saturday, 3rd October.
The weather was more than cooperative, with bright, sunny skies and a nice gentle breeze to refresh the walkers on their route.

More than 40 scouts took part in the sponsored walk, with guides and supervisers there to lend a hand.

The guided tours of the parklands have now finished for the season, and will begin again on 1st March 2011. Of course, the parklands are open year-round, for anyone who wishes to explore and enjoy by themselves.
